Mannarasala Ayilyam is an important temple festival celebrated at Mannarasala Nagaraja Temple dedicated to serpent gods, at Alappuzha in Kerala state.  The priestess of this temple is a Brahmin woman known as “Mannarasala Amma”.  Special poojas and offerings will be performed to Serpent gods on that auspicious day.  Usually Ayilyam festival falls on October / November month. Nooum Palum, Sarppa bali , Salt and turmeric and  Uruli Kamizthal are some of the offerings of the temple.
