Kudajadri mountain is about 40 KMs from Mookambika Temple, Kollur, Karnataka. Kudajadri Sankarapeedam or Sarvajna Peedam, a place where, according to Mythology, Adi Shankaracharya did Tapas in order to get blessings from Devi, is upon the Kudajadri mountain. We can go there by jeep, which is available near the temple premises or can reach there by trekking. Kudajadri mountains are also known as Kodachadri mountains. It is a very popular trekking spot in Karnataka state. You can experience the divinity of of Adi Shankaracharya while standing near the temple.
