Kanathoor Nalvar Bhoothasthanam Theyyam Festival in Kerala.
Start date: Dec. 28, 2017 to 1st January,2018.
Venue: Kanathoor Nalvar Bhoothasthanam, Kasaragod, Kerala
Kanathoor Nalvar Bhoothasthanam is a unique platform to watch the performance of almost 400 theyyams together. Dedicated to the Mother Goddess, this is one of the state’s biggest theyyam events.

Chennai Music Festival (Madras Music Season) Indian classical music festival
Start date: Mid of December to January
Venue: Music halls all over Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Chennai Music Festival, believed as the world’s largest cultural event, showcases traditional south Indian Carnatic music, dance, and other arts inn different venues in Chennai. Over 1,000 performances take place during the festival days.

Mamallapuram Dance Festival, Mamallapuram
Start date: December 21, 2017 to January 21, 2018. ( Date to be comformed)
Venue: Arjuna’s Penance, Mamallapuram, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
This unique open air Dance Festival held in the beach town of Mamallapuram, just very near to Chennai. The festival showcases a range of classical and folk dance forms from all over India.
Rann Utsav.

Venue: Great Rann of Kutch salt desert, Dhordo, Gujarat.

Swathi Sangeetholsavam
Start date: January 4-13 every year.
Venue: Kuthiramalika Palace, East Fort, Trivandrum, Kerala.
One of the best music festivals in India, a week-long Music Festival in the memory of Maharaja Swathithirunal, the entire festival is devoted to his compositions more than 400 numbers in both Carnatic and Hindustani music. Entry is free.

International Kite Festival
Start date: January 7-14, 2018.
Venue: Sabarmati River Front, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Bikaner Camel Fair

Mukteshwar Dance Festival

Venue : Mukteshwar Temple Complex, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The Mukteshwar Dance Festival, dedicated to Odissi dance and music, offers solo, duet and group Odissi performances. It takes place in the courtyard of Mukteshwar Temple Complex inBhubaneswar.

Modhera Dance Festival

Nagaur Fair
Start date: January 23-25, 2018.
Venue : Nagaur, Rajasthan.
Known as India’s second largest cattle fair held at Nagpur, it is the trading place of around 70,000 bullocks, camels and horses. Folk dances, tug of war competitions, and camel races will be held during the show. Red chili market, and traditional handicrafts are the other attractions.


Jaipur Literature Festival

Venue : Diggi Palace, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Republic Day Parade

Venue : New Delhi.
Every year on 26th January, a spectacular Republic Day parade will be held in New Delhi at Delhi’s central Rajpath avenue. Three divisions of the armed forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) showcase their strength in the padade. The parade also includes traditional dances from various states, tablos and other art forms.

Baneshwar Fair

Jaisalmer Desert Festival
