The International Film Festival of Kerala 2017, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
The International Film Festival of Kerala is an annual film festival held at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala state, South India. Organized by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy in association with Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala, This 7 days showcases an array of International, Indian and Regional films. The Golden Crow Pheasant Award  or Suvarna Chakoram is the main award given for the competition category.
Awards given for the Completion category

• The Golden Crow Pheasant Award (Suvarna Chakoram in Regional language) : Award for the best director and producer to the best feature film.Award carries  a cash prize of Rs.1,000,000/- (about US$20,000)
• The Silver Crow Pheasant Award (Rajatha Chakoram in Regional language): Award for the best director. Award carries  a cash prize of Rs.300,000/- (about US$6,000)
•    The Silver Crow Pheasant Award (Rajatha Chakoram in Regional language): Award for the best debut  director. Award carries  a cash prize of Rs.200,000/- (about US$4,000)
•    Audience Prize: (Rajatha Chakoram): Award for the best director of the most popular film voted by the festival delegates . Award carries  a cash prize of Rs.100,000 (about US$2,000)
•    FIPRESCI Award: Award for the best film chosen by the Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique. ( award separately for Malayalam films)
•    Netpac  Award: Award for the best film in the competition section of the films from Asia.  The film is selected by the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema . (introduced in 2007 and the award is only for Malayalam films)
FIPRESCI and Netpac awards are the awards the awards given separately for the best Malayalam films at the festival.
