A Duffmuttu performance in Kerala School Kalolsavam 2018-19
Duffmuttu or Dubhmuttu is a Mappila (Muslim) art form in the Malabar region of Kerala state in south India. The word duff is of Arabic origin and is a percussion instrument made of wood and ox skin. Duffmuttu is performed as social entertainment and to celebrate festivals, uroos and weddings.
