CIAL bags “ Champion of Earth” award.

CIAL bags United Nation’s highest environmental honour award – “ Champion of Earth” prize 2018.  CIAL is the first airport in the world to be fully powered by solar energy. The award will be presented at a gala ceremony on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 26,  2018.

The airport stands in the fourth position in the country in terms of international traffic and seventh position in total traffic and  handled ten million passengers in the year 2017-18.
