November is here… it’s time to go for Shillong’s fourth Cherry Blossom Festival. This beautiful festival is held every year to celebrate the unique autumn flowering of the Himalayan cherry blossoms along with several mind blowing cultural events. this year Cherry blossom festival 2019 will be from 13 to 16 November at various venues in Shillong.

This is the only autumn cherry blossom festival in the world that celebrates the flowering of Himalayan Cherry Blossoms.

The festival will be held in different venues, namely the Polo 5th Ground, JN Stadium, State Convention Centre, Golf Course and Indoor Stadium Polo. Live music gigs, a beauty pageant, and stalls showcasing the cuisine, wine, arts and craft of the region are some of the attractions of Cherry blossom festival.
Along with these, there will be a rock concert, , choir performances, bicycle rallies, traditional folk music, unplugged western music and dance performances from all over Northeast India storytelling sessions of local and world folktales.
