The annual feast, popularly known as Arthunkal Perunnal (perunnal means feast) at St. Andrew’s Forane Church, Arthunkal in Alappuzha will begin on 10th January and ends at 27th January 2021.  A procession carrying the statue of St. Sebastian, from the church to the beach and back, is an important ritual during the festive days. Devotees from different parts of the State gather here to celebrate the feast. Devotees crawl on their knees all the way from the nearby beach to the church is another important ritual on the final day of the feast.
