The Pune International Literary Festival (PILF)

The Pune International Literary Festival is an opportunity to explore the world of literature through the festival and the opportunity to listen, learn and to interact with around 150 authors, film makers, artists and other personalities and also achievers from different fields.




The vision behind the literary festival is, to engage, explore and experiment with all forms and genres of the written word inspiring you to fall in love with the written word… and light the lamp of knowledge!

And the mission behind it is to give Pune its first ever English literary festival, to create an exciting and interactive platform for writers, publishers and readers and to exhibit talented authors/writers/creative personalities from all media and demystify the gloss around the creative word in Pune.




The Pune International Literary Festival which has been conducted from the last three years is an annual event which is organized in Pune. The literary festival is a festival of 3 days. The aim behind the fest is to provide a platform to the authors to meet their readers and get feedbacks and the experience sharing is also another motto of the same. Authors from India and Abroad take part in the festival.  They will share their ideas on the books which have been already published and their future projects too.

The Pune International Literary Festival will be based on a theme which will vary on every year. There will be discussion based on the theme to get more awareness about the same. The panel discussion, workshops and book launches stands the main attraction of the festival.




The Pune International Literary Festival is all about making a community of writers, publishers and readers. It will get you to engage, explore and experiment with all forms and genres of the written word.

The Pune International Literary Festival is the perfect place for you if you want to take a deep and contemplate journey through history, literature, movies and art. Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (Yashada) is the hosting place of the Pune International Literary Festival which occurs annually.
