Ramnagar Ramlila

Varanasi (also known as Benares), Uttar Pradesh State, India
Date: September 23-October 24, 2018.
Place: Ramnagar, on the banks of the Ganges River.

Known as the world’s oldest Ramlila, this fascinating festival commences with the incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Rama, to save humanity from demon king Ravana.
Kabir Yatra

Date: October 2-7, 2018.
Place: Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner.




Navaratri

Date: October 10-18, 2018.
Place: All across India, particularly in Gujarat, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Varanasi, and Mysore. Mookambika temple at Kollur in Karnataka is very famous for  Navarathri celebrations.

Navaratri means 9 sacred nights, celebrates the Mother Goddess or Shakti in all her manifestations – Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.
