Manarcad Perunnal, the annual feast at the St Mary’s Church at Manarcad at kottayam in Kerala will be celebrated from 1st to 8th September every year. The highlight of this festival is Raza- a procession carrying the sacred golden cross. The devotees participate in this procession holding beautiful Muthukudas (decorated parasols).This procession is considered to be the longest and heavily packed religious processions in the world
